I am feeling a little under the weather today but I missed Thursday so I feel like I have to write something for today.
The first thing to know about Florida and Disney World is that it will probably rain/thunderstorm at some point during the day. If you plan for this to happen you can have a great time. Bring cheap ponchos and your own umbrella, buying these items in the parks will cost a mint.
Most rides will stay open in the rain, outside rides may close during a thunderstorm due to safety concerns. If you are prepared for the weather you can keep trucking through your day while other families go back to their hotels or hide from the rain. This time might be the best time to ride rides, lines can be short due to the amount of people that leave during the rain.
If you forget to bring your rain weather gear you can also stay out of the rain by seeing an inside show or taking this time to eat inside. Going back to your hotel is also an option if you think staying out in the rain may lead to a not so fun experience.
