Today I will be discussing some tips for visiting Disney World with kids.

  1. Know what your kids are interested in before you go, this way you can plan all of their most important things into your Disney days. Are they interested in certain characters or certain movies?

  2. Check the height requirements for rides, this way you don't hype your kids up for a ride and then find out when you get there that they are too short to ride. Luckily some rides have no height requirement at all, so your kids will be able to go on some rides.

  3. Plan rest breaks! Your kids are going to get sore feet and get really tired. They are going to do more walking than they have, possibly ever. It is always a good idea to plan a midday rest where you head back to your hotel and take a nap or go in the pool or just take it easy.

  4. Strollers! Even if you think your kid is big enough to walk around the park all day, bring a stroller. If your kid ends up being fine, you can use it to hold things. If they end up needing a nap or having their feet hurt too much, they can ride in the stroller for a bit.

  5. Know what your kid likes to eat. If your kid is a picky eater make sure to look at the menus of the restaurants you're thinking of going to during your trip. If they don't care what they eat, have fun.

  6. Look at the weather before you go and plan your clothes and your kids clothes accordingly.

  7. Decide whether you need a Dining Plan or not. If your kid doesn't eat a lot or is a picky eater, it may not be worth it.
